Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy
Deposit Policy
At the time of registration, we require payment of a deposit for all Paris-based workshops. Ths deposit is deducted from the workshop fee. The remaining balance is due 45 days prior to the workshop's start date. Online workshops are paid in full at the time of registration. Please refer to our Withdrawal and Refund Policy below before booking.
Payment Policy
Full payment is due 45 days prior to the start date of any workshop. Balances unpaid 30 days prior to the workshop's start date are subject to cancellation of your place and loss of your deposit. All fees are to be paid in euros via debit or credit card payment or wire transfer. No checks are accepted.
Transfer Policy
If for any reason you desire to transfer to a different workshop, please notify us at least 45 days in advance of the workshop start date. We will try to accommodate your request to transfer, however we reserve the right to accept or reject any transfer. Your transfer must be to a workshop within the next calendar year.
Cancellation and Withdrawal
Occasionally, we cancel a workshop because of low enrolment. In this case, we will refund all monies paid, in full. We cannot be responsible for non-refundable airline tickets unused because of a cancellation. Our limit of liability is to return all monies paid to The Paris Screenwriters Workshop.
Withdrawal Policy
Enrolment is limited in our workshops, so once you have been accepted your participation is important to us – we rely on your attendance to make important arrangements with instructors and other logistics.
If you must withdraw from a workshop, please do so in writing to the following email address: info@screenwritinginparis.com.
Instructor Replacement
It is the nature of the business that occasionally a listed instructor is unable to participate because of a change in his or her professional schedule. If we are forced to replace an instructor, we will do so with someone of equal or similar credentials. When time permits, we will inform all those registered.
Refund Policy
The Paris Screenwriters Workshop is not responsible for cancellations due to medical or other family related emergencies. We strongly urge you to consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance for any workshop.
In the event a workshop must be cancelled by us due to inadequate enrolment or other events outside of our control, we will refund all funds paid to us – or, we can transfer you to another workshop, space permitting. The Paris Screenwriters Workshop is not responsible for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets, or accommodation in the event a workshop is cancelled.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect yourself against: 1) unforeseen circumstances that might prevent your attendance; or 2) a course cancellation.
We suggest a plan that offers coverage for medical/dental emergencies, lost baggage, missed connections, and trip cancellation, should you unexpectedly need to cancel.
The Paris Screenwriters Workshop is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies or reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets in the event of a workshop cancellation.
There are NO exceptions to our Cancellation, Withdrawal, Refund and Transfer Policies.
